Our recruiting firm, Centermark Placements, has been retained by Santa Rosa Community Health to lead the search for their next Chief Medical Officer. SRCH is a Federally Qualified Health Center with 12 locations, multiple service lines, and an operating budget of approximately $80M.

- Find a home in a deeply mission-driven organization that values relationships, collaboration, clear communication and transparency
- Ability to focus the majority of your time on strategic leadership and administration while still keeping up your clinical skills with an 80:20 admin to clinic ratio (two 4-hour shifts of direct patient care per week)
- Collaborate with 5 Medical Directors who report to the Chief Medical Officer and assist with the strategic delivery of care to over 40,000 patients
- Close affiliation with the Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency, training 36 family practice residents in full-spectrum community-based medicine, many of whom go on to work at SRCH or in Sonoma County
- Leverage your passion for Quality Improvement to streamline processes and ramp up initiatives in collaboration with the Director of Quality as the organization continues to optimize quality indicators
- Be involved in the assessment and development of a potential new service line - Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE)
- Report to a talented CEO who has been with the organization for almost 20 years and is passionate about caring for the organization's patients and the community
- Stable C-Suite leadership team with all members supportive of an incoming CMO who will work collaboratively, in partnership, towards achieving the goals of organization
Background Profile
- Valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in California
- Family Practice, Pediatric, or Internal Medicine physicians will be considered
- Bilingual English/Spanish is desirable but not required
- Minimum three years’ experience in a senior leadership position and a minimum of five years’ clinical experience
- Additional formal training in management is of interest
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be sensitive with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds
