The Role You'll Play
- Conduct Property Condition Assessments for equity clients. This is not a “turn and burn” model. You can take your time and deliver a quality work product! You'll be responsible for approx 1.5 PCAs per month
- Preparation of formal reports to include: information gathered from site observations; review of supplied documents; interviews of persons familiar with the history and current condition of the property; contact with appropriate building and fire department officials
- Summarize observations, findings, conclusions and recommendations in both written report verbal reports to clients as appropriate during the course of the work
- Evaluate multiple building types including: Garden-style & Wrap Multi-family; Industrial or Office/Industrial; Single-story Retail (strip centers); Single-story Retail (malls); Office, Hotels, High-rise Multi-family
- Scope of PCA services can include: Document Review; Interviews; Evaluation of Site and Site Amenities; Pavement; Structures and Foundations; Exterior of Buildings; Roofing; Interior Finishes; Vertical Transportation; MEP systems; Fire Protection and Fire Alarm System; Code and Zoning Compliance Inquiry; Accessibility Screening; A variety of additional services on a per-project basis often with the assistance of subconsultants

Background Profile
- 5+ years’ experience conducting Property Condition Assessments
- Previous experience performing equity level PCAs is preferred
- Registered Architect or Engineer is desirable but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or other related degree is required
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines in a collaborative working environment
- Works effectively as part of a team as well as independently
- Narrative report writing skills with a typing speed appropriate for business use
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Communicates effectively both internally and with clients
